Terms of Service

By accessing or using Punditz (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Punditz. If a feature involves prizes, you must also meet any age and legal requirements that apply in your jurisdiction.

• You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.
• Keep your login credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorized use.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Punditz lets you predict match scorelines and join or run private leagues with friends. Predictions lock at each round’s deadline; once locked, they cannot be changed. Points are awarded according to the scoring rules described on our rules page, and standings are calculated automatically.

Some leagues may feature a prize. Where offered, prize pools are sponsor-funded — Punditz is a game of skill and prediction, not a betting or gambling service, and we do not require a paid entry fee to compete for sponsored prizes. Prize eligibility, rules, and payout are determined by the relevant league and applicable law, and we may modify or withdraw a prize where necessary.

You agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe others’ rights, or violate these terms.
• Cheat, manipulate scoring or standings, or use bots or automated entry.
• Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or disrupt the Service.
• Upload offensive, harmful, or misleading content (e.g. league or display names).

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as league names and predictions). You grant Punditz a limited license to host and display that content as needed to operate the Service.

Fixtures, results, and standings are sourced from third-party data providers. While we aim for accuracy and timeliness, we do not guarantee that this data is error-free, and scoring may be adjusted if a provider corrects a result.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Punditz and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

You may stop using Punditz and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or to protect the Service and its users.

We may update the Service and these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
