How Punditz works

The basics

Pick the exact scoreline for each match in a round before it kicks off. When the match finishes, your prediction is scored against the real result — and the points stack up across the season into your league table.

How points work

Each sport has its own scoring, tuned to how it's played. More sports are on the way.

Rounds & deadlines

Matches are grouped into rounds (matchdays). Every prediction in a round locks at its deadline — the kickoff of the round's earliest match, FPL-style. After that the round is read-only: no late edits.

Leagues

Create a private league for any competition and share its join code with friends. Everyone predicts the same fixtures, and the table ranks you by total points.

Prize leagues

A league owner can attach a prize. Today prizes are sponsored — the creator funds the pool and members join free. When the competition ends, the pool is paid out by the chosen rule: winner takes all, or a 50/30/20 split across the top three.

Prize payments currently use a test provider — no real money changes hands yet. Real payments are coming, subject to local rules.
